KEEHI BOATER ARRESTED FOR TERRORISTIC THREATENING

HONOLULU —   A boater at Keehi Small Boat Harbor was arrested today on charges of threatening the life of a DLNR boating division harbor agent.  Officers from the State Office of the Attorney General, State Sheriffs and DLNR Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement worked together early this morning to arrest Michael D. Bryan for charges of terroristic threatening in the first degree, a class C felony offense.

“Boating staff are responsible for carrying out operations at our small boat harbors in the state and working with boaters on many different issues.  Any type of threatening behavior by the public in our harbors is not acceptable and law enforcement response will take place,”said William J. Aila, Jr., DLNR chairperson.

Bryan remains in custody. Bail is set at $5,000. A stay away order has also been issued.
