- Hydrologist I – IV: This position is responsible for assisting in the administration of the Statewide Instream Use Protection Program in accordance with provisions of the State Water Code, and in cooperation with federal, state, and county agencies; assisting in developing stream management plans; assisting in developing and implementing procedures and guidelines for adopting interim and permanent instream flow standards; recommending stream protection policies; assisting in enforcing established instream flow standards in coordination with state, federal, and county agencies; and performing other duties as assigned.
