Starting Monday, February 5, repairs will begin on the damaged seawall at Mā’alaea Small Boat Harbor to shore up its protection against wave action. Facilities will remain open.  However, please be aware that some parking stalls along the south breakwater will be blocked temporarily as needed during the project. Expected completion: May 31, 2024.

DOBOR Kauai District will be holding an impounded vessel auction.  This auction will be conducted via sealed bids only. Hand-delivered bids must be submitted by 4:00pm on January 17, 2024. Mailed bids must be postmarked no later than January 17, 2024. More information, including the auction packet, is available on the Impounded Vessel Auction page.
