Four Men Cited For Entering The Closed Manoa Falls Trail

(Manoa) – Over the course of eight hours today, officers from the DLNR Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement (DOCARE) contacted and educated more than 100 people concerning the current Manoa Falls Trail closure.

11/12/13 – DLNR – Waimanu trail closed, camping permits canceled due to Big Island flash flood watch tonight through Thursday

" We are cancelling all camping permits and the remote Waimanu trail until further notice until the trail can be inspected and deemed safe for public use," said Roger Imoto, Division of Forestry and Wildlife administrator.
