BUREAU OF CONVEYANCES: OPERATION UPDATE – CERTIFIED COPIES AND MAPSPosted on Apr 3, 2020 in Announcements, Main
COVID-19 UPDATE, CERTIFIED COPIES AND MAPS (APRIL 3, 2020)
Obtaining Certified Copies
Many in the public were coming physically to the Bureau to obtain paper copies of certified documents prior to the office closure to the walk-in public due to COVID-19 that went into effect Wednesday, 3/18/2020. Until the Governor’s order is lifted and we can open to the public again, please take advantage of our online document ordering system (https://boc.ehawaii.gov/docsearch/search.html) that includes requests for certified copies. It is an easy application to use and can be paid for by credit card. Although we have a 7-10 day delivery time noted on the application, most orders go out within a business day or two of ordering and is then subject to USPS delivery timing.
Researching Maps or Ordering Map Copies
Condominium or Land Court Maps could previously be researched in our Public Reference Room and as needed, copies could be ordered through third party vendors from the Bureau. The Governor’s order again will require us to suspend these services until further notice while the Bureau continues to evaluate workable solutions for these services.
We thank you all in advance for your understanding and patience as we all deal with the impacts of this COVID-19 situation.
