2023 is a big year for our small snails. Check out events and opportunities to get involved in the Year of the Kāhuli.

Governor Josh Green M.D. today issued a proclamation declaring 2023, the Year of the Kāhuli. These colorful native tree snails are not your garden variety type, but species that used to inhabit virtually every ecosystem across the state and have played a significant role in the natural and cultural life of Hawai‘i.
