COQUI FROG CAPTURE – OPEN VOLUNTEER NIGHTS

We will be hiking at night on uneven terrain searching for and catching coqui frogs.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO HELP REDUCE THE COQUI POPULATION IN WAIMĀNALO!

THURSDAYS – 5:30-9:30 PM

NOTES

  • Long sleeve shirt, long pants, covered shoes (no slippers, Crocs, etc), and headlamp are required to participate
  • Please also bring a pack, water, and any necessary medications
  • PLEASE BE ON TIME at Waimānalo District Park as we will have opening circle with safety debrief, etc
  • Participation is dependent upon staff available.  You will receive a confirmation email the day before the event if we have enough staff.
  • The captures on the 10th and 17th are open to people 12 and older.
  • The capture on the 31st is open to people 5 and older.
  • Each individual under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
