DESCRIPTION:Join Nāpuʻu Natural Resource Management (NNRM) for a volunteer day in our Hauʻāina unit! \nSign-up: https://forms.gle/vMi68EdGmXiXZwtA6 \nDate: Saturday\, April 18\, 2026 \nTime: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm \nLocation: Meet at the Puʻuwaʻawaʻa Forest Reserve at the hikers station (left-hand side parking area right inside of gate) \nWhat: We will be out-planting various native dry/mesic plants which provide biodiversity\, watershed restoration\, and cultural importance. Most planting will be done in a rocky soil substrate. Gloves and tools will be provided. \nBring:  \n\nSturdy hiking boots/shoes (closed-toe) are REQUIRED\nLong-sleeved shirts and long pants are recommended\nSnacks and a lunch\nPlenty of water: a water cooler will be available for refills.\nSun protection: Sunscreen\, hat\, sunglasses\nRain gear\n\n**Terrain is uneven and rocky. Weather can be hot and sunny or cold and rainy.**
