DESCRIPTION:DLNR Division of State Parks and Forestry and Wildlife is looking for hardy volunteers to help install symbolic fencing* as a new enclosure for the endangered yellow-faced bee population at Mālaekahana State Recreation Area. \n9am~12pm meet in parking lot in front of restrooms. \nTo sign-up RSVP to kekai.k.mar@hawaii.gov \nAll participants must bring a signed liability release waiver. \n*Symbolic fencing is a low-profile conservation technique to protect fragile areas and delineate trails.
