Forest Reserve Rule Changes

The Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) manages the Forest Reserve System, consisting of 55 reserves across the state covering approximately 684,000 acres.  In light of evolving natural resource concerns and the needs of managers and the public, updates to the forest reserve rules are proposed.  Public hearings will be held on each island in April 2018.  Please explore the available information below, or download the PDF guide to the process.  Questions and comments may also be submitted below.
