Adopt a Pond at Kawainui Marsh today to help restore native habitat for endangered waterbirds! 

There are 11 terraced ponds that provide habitat for the endangered ʻalae keʻokeʻo (Hawaiian coot), ʻalae ʻula (Hawaiian moorhen), aeʻo (Hawaiian stilt), and koloa maoli (Hawaiian duck). The ponds are located in Kailua, Oʻahu and are managed by the State DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife. For more information contact the O‘ahu Outreach Associate.
