NWS Drought Information Statement

The National Weather Service Honolulu Forecast Office issues drought information statements as necessary on a monthly basis. These statements summarize hydrologic conditions and reported drought impacts from across the State of Hawaii.

USGS Recent Hydrologic Conditions, Hawaii

The U.S. Geological Survey, Pacific Islands Water Science Center, summarizes rainfall, streamflow, and groundwater levels from its monitoring networks across the State of Hawaii. This information is updated monthly.

Significant Wildland Fire Potential Outlook

The National Interagency Coordination Center (NICC) is the focal point for coordinating the mobilization of resources for wildland fire and other incidents throughout the United States. Located in Boise, Idaho, the NICC also provides Intelligence and Predictive Services related-products designed to be used by the internal wildland fire community for wildland fire and incident management decision-making. Under its Predictive Services Program, NICC offers monthly and seasonal maps of National Significant Wildland Fire Potential Outlook.
