Volunteer to Plant Native Trees on Mauna Kea! April Volunteer Dates are now open for registration.

“Restoring the native forest ecosystem of Mauna Kea is more than just a job or a volunteer day trip. It is a kuleana! It is about giving back to Mauna Kea, Mother Earth, and Future Generations. It’s also about the health of our community.”

Sign Up by completing the registration form below and come plant native trees on Mauna Kea with us. We look forward to seeing you and working with you and our community volunteers to restore Mauna Keaʻs high elevation native forest.

The native seedlings have been growing at Waimea State Nursery for the last 11 months and are looking great and will be ready to meet you on the Mauna. Bring your Ohana, Friends, Clubs, Organization, and Schools to plant trees and learn about the special places we work to protect on Mauna Kea. See you on the Mauna!
