‘Akoko

Euphorbia olowaluana,

Endemic

‘Akoko is one of the few plants in Hawai‘i with white, milky sap. Though most Euphoriba are small weeds or shrubs, this species grows to tree size. The small flowers are important food sources for the native yellow-faced bees (Hylaeus).
