**IMPORTANT PARK NOTICES**

Monitor weather reports before your park visit!

[MAUI] - UPDATE 4/17/25: Puaʻa kaʻa Wayside and Restrooms will be CLOSED for renovations April 21 thru May 12.

[MOLOKA’I] - UPDATE 3/24/25: Pala’au State Park Pavilion: Due to demolition and renovation work, the pavilion will be closed from March 25 to May 31.

[KAUAʻI] - UPDATE 3/21/25: Pā‘ula‘ula State Historic Site - Due to construction improvements, the park closure will begin starting March 24 until further notice.

[OʻAHU] UPDATED 3/18/25 – Diamond Head State Monument (DHSM): Partial Park Closures Hours with operating hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM will occur from April 21 onwards Monday through Friday, (except holidays).  Normal Park Hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM will resume on Weekends and Holidays. During Partial Park Closures Hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the last reservation time slot for Parking and Entry and Entry Only will be 12:00 p.m. If you reserved at 12:00 p.m., you must enter the Park no later than 12:30 p.m. or you will be denied entry. The project began January 6, 2025, and will run until July 25, 2025, upon completion of the rock fall mitigation construction project at the Kahala Tunnel. Please check back for updates.

FOOD TRUCK CONCESSIONAIRES SOUGHT FOR OUR BUSIEST STATE PARK DLNR’s Division of State Parks is in search of food truck parties interested in leasing concession space at Diamond Head State Monument. Notice of Intent & Qualifications Questionnaire will be available 4/25/2025 – 5/5/2025 online and at the DSP office in Honolulu. Submission of these two forms is required to be eligible to move on in the bidding process. Hard copies of the forms must be submitted in-person or via mail, electronic submissions WILL NOT be accepted. TWO (2) winners will be selected.

 
The State of Hawaii, Board of Land and Natural Resources, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) to qualified parties interested in a Mobile Food Concession of state-owned lands within the Diamond Head State Monument situated on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, pursuant to Chapter 102, Hawaii Revised Statues (“HRS”).  The notice to bidders will be advertised in the Star Advertiser on April 25, 27, and 28, 2025.
 
Before any prospective bidder shall be entitled to submit a bid, the prospective bidder must meet the minimum qualifications set forth in the IFB and shall submit a completed Qualification Questionnaire and give written notice of intent to bid on the Notice of Intention to Bid form by 4:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time (“HST”) May 5, 2025, to the Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of State Parks (“DSP”), 1151 Punchbowl Street, Room 310, Honolulu, HI 96813.
 
Sealed Bids are due on or before 2:00 PM HST on May 23, 2025, at DSP, located at 1151 Punchbowl St., Honolulu, HI 96813. A Sealed Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit required by and in conformance with section 102-6, HRS. Sealed Bids timely and properly received will be publicly opened at 3:00 PM HST on May 23, 2025, at DSP, located at 1151 Punchbowl St., Honolulu, HI 96813.
