Kaʻena Point State Park: Marine Debris Cleanup Volunteer Day

Aloha Kākou,

Get involved with the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of State Parks at our First Saturday’s Volunteer Event at Kaʻena Point State Park – Mokuleiʻa section (northshore side).

We encourage volunteers to hike the park as they remove marine debris found along the way.

Meeting at the parking lot at the end of Farrington Hwy.

Volunteer Event Details:

Date: First Saturday’s

Time: 830am-1130am

Wear: Shoes, pants, long-sleeve shirt

Bring: Water, garden/work gloves, 

Notice: Signed liability release waiver required

*Participants must be fully vaccinated and bring signed waiver

**Minors must be supervised at all times. This park has no restroom facilities, running water, or shade. Some plants may have thorns and there may be stinging/biting insects. Event may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
