Kaʻena Point State Park – Keawaʻula Section (West side): Volunteer Day

November 5, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Aloha Kākou,

The wet season is upon us as we go into ke kau hāʻulelau, or the fall season. We want to make sure the ʻauwai or irrigation ditch is cleared before the rains, so our new out-plantings at Kaʻena-Keawaʻula can be quenched by the nourishing waters.
Come volunteer to help clear invasives and deepen/extend the ʻauwai on November 5th  830am to noon at Kaena Point State Park on the Keawaʻula Section of the park on the west side of the island. Meet at the restroom parking lot. We will be working near this area. Feel free to go beach, fish, or hike to the point after!

Simply EMAIL [email protected] to Sign-up!
