Keawaʻula Vehicle Removal Project
June 11, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Aloha Kākou,
Not sure if you want to hike or go beach this weekend? How about do both!
Come out to Keawaʻula, at the end of the road (Farrington Hwy west) at Kaʻena Point State Park, this Saturday 6/11 at 8am for a volunteer service hike.
Volunteers have been stripping away at the derelict vehicle that has been on the Keawaʻula trail for years. Hike in with other community members to help remove pieces of the vehicle. Cool off at Keawaʻula beach afterwards!
This project may not be suitable for minors. The trail and worksite is exposed to the sun without many opportunities for shade, the cliff trail is also rocky with no restrooms or running water available. Please bring your own work gloves and wear shoes. All participants must sign a Liability Release Waiver.
To sign-up for this event, RSVP to [email protected] and attach your signed waiver.
