Monitor local surf and weather reports prior to your park visit.

[O’AHU] UPDATED 8/1/24: Diamond Head State Monument - Due to multiple community events occurring around Diamond Head State Monument on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4, please expect delays on the Diamond Head Rd. fronting the park entrance from park opening (6 A.M.) to 9:30 A.M. Those with reservations in early time-slots may request refunds by emailing  [email protected] Mahalo.

[KAUA’I] UPDATED - 7/29/24: Wailua River State Park, Opaekaʻa Falls restroom has REOPENED.  

[KAUA’I] UPDATED 7/29/24 - Water service at Pu’u Ka Pele, Kōkeʻe SP has been TURNED OFF. 

[MAUI] UPDATED 7/24/24 – Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area: Access to the park and cabin has REOPENED.

[KAUAʻI] UPDATED 6/18/24 –Kalalau Trail, Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park: Camping permits held back for local residents during summer, see Kalalau Trail site for more information.

[KAUAʻI] UPDATED 6/18/24 – Kōkeʻe State Park: The gate to Puʻu O Kila Lookout will be closed to vehicular traffic due to road repairs beginning 3/19/24. The lookout will still be accessible by pedestrians, parking is available at Kalalau lookout.
