⚠️Monitor weather reports and ocean conditions before your park visit. 

[KAUAʻI, OʻAHU, HAWAIʻI] 2/10/26 – Wailua River State Park (Kauaʻi), Ahupuaʻa ʻO Kahana State Park (Oʻahu), Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park (Hawaiʻi): All commercial kayak operators must apply for a Rental Vessel Special Use Permit – Commercial Application, each kayak vessel requires a registered decal. Visit State Parks Permits page here and download and mail in the Rental Vessel Special Use Permit – Commercial Application.

[KAUA‘I] UPDATE 2/10/26 — Kalalau Trail, Na Pali State Wilderness Park will remain CLOSED due to inclement weather conditions. Ha‘ena State Park shuttle is SUSPENDED.

[O’AHU] UPDATE 2/10/26 — Mauna Ala–Royal Mausoleum State Monument, Puʻu ʻUʻala Kaʻa State Wayside, and Keaīwa Heiau State Recreation Area will remain CLOSED Tuesday 2/10/26 for cleanup and strong winds.

[MAUI] UPDATE 2/10/26 – ʻĪao Valley State Monument will remain CLOSED due to County work occurring in the lower section of the park.

 [ALL ISLANDS] UPDATE 2/9/26 — All State Parks closed Sunday due to severe weather will REOPEN Tuesday 2/10/26, with the exception of parks requiring storm cleanup and experiencing inclement weather conditions. All State Park Offices will REOPEN. We appreciate your cooperation. Please exercise caution in the parks. [ALL ISLANDS] 2/8/26 — All State Parks CLOSED Sunday through Monday 2/9/26 due to severe weather conditions. All State Park Offices CLOSED Monday 2/9/26.

[O‘AHU] UPDATE 2/3/26 – KA‘ENA POINT STATE PARK, MOKULE‘IA SECTION: Vehicle access dirt road repairs are occurring to stabilize severe erosion, and armor problem areas with aggregate to reduce erosion and puddling, and improve road stability. 1/5/26 - Kaʻena Point Vehicle Access Permits available now: kaenasups.ehawaii.govAll applicants must create a NEW account and apply as a new applicant.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds must be requested at least 15 days in-advance of your check-in date. No refunds inside of 15 days to check-in. No exceptions!

To request a refund, login and click on “My Reservations”, then select the appropriate “Refund/Cancellation” link and follow the instructions.

Credit Card Refunds: Refunds for credit cards minus service fee and cancellation fee, will be credited back to your card. Curd must be the same as original purchase.

Non Credit Card Refunds: Non credit card refund requests will be issued by check, minus cancellation fee ($5) and non-refundable administrative fee.  Checks may take up to 12 weeks to process.
