ʻAlalā Project to participate in Merrie Monarch Parade

Posted on Mar 31, 2016 in News & Events

There will be a flock of ʻalalā “flying” through downtown Hilo on Saturday, April 2! Look for us as we march in the Merrie Monarch parade with our ʻalalā masks on. To help spread the word about the ʻAlalā Project and our upcoming release of birds back into the wild, we will be passing out stickers and brochures. The parade begins at 10:30, so come early to get a good spot to view the ʻalalā.
