Posted on Apr 16, 2020 in News & Events

Are you a student interested in conservation and ʻAlalā? Have you ever wanted to be a part of The ʻAlalā Project? Hereʻs your chance! We are looking to fill two internship positions. These positions are being offered by Kupu Hawaii as part of their Conservation Leadership Development Program. The ʻAlalā Project hosted positions are a year-long position (October 2020 – August 2021). Major duties include assisting with the predator control and the ʻAlalā bird monitoring program. These positions are essential for the purpose of habitat management, the reduction of predation risk to released ʻAlalā, and the reintroduction of the ʻAlalā at release sites on Hawaiʻi Island. The deadline to apply for these positions is June 15th, 2020.
