At this time we are planning on providing our first in-person outreach presentation at the Lyman Museum in Hilo, HI! Rachel Kingsley, Education and Outreach Associate for The ‘Alalā Project will be presenting on Monday, July 13th in the evening and Tuesday, July 14th in the afternoon. These presentations will include the latest update on the reintroduction efforts, an up-to-the-minute status report on the released birds, and the plans for future reintroductions. There will also be merchandise available for purchase through donations after the presentation.
Admission to these wonderful programs is free to Museum members, and $3.00 for nonmembers. Please support the Museum by becoming a member, and enjoy all Saigo Series programs, all year round, at no charge! Seating is limited; first come, first seated.
To help keep everyone safe with the ongoing Covid-19 concerns there will be safety precautions taken. Masks will be required, seating will be spaced apart, and seating will be limited. If it is not considered safe, according to medical guidelines, to hold this presentation we will provide information here on our website as well as on our social media outlets.
