The 45th  meeting of the USCRTF task force will be held at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa on the West side of Hawai‘i Island, also known as the Big Island. The Outrigger Kona is approximately 30 minutes away from Kona International Airport (airport code KOA). Though it is not recommended, attendees can also fly into Hilo International Airport (airport code ITO), which is approximately 2 hours away from the Outrigger Kona.

Currently there are no Covid-19 restrictions to travel domestically to the State of Hawai‘i.

Rental car:

If you are planning to rent a car, we recommend booking a rental car early to avoid surge prices. At the Kona International Airport, rental car agencies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise, National, and Thrifty. Additionally, the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa has an onsite Hertz.

Kona Trolley:

Roberts Hawai‘i provides the Kona Trolley, an open-air trolley car that stops at popular and iconic places in the Kona area.

Hele-On

The #204 Hele-On County of Hawaiʻi Bus is free and can help you get around the district as needed! This bus operates from approximately 6 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday.
