Water Management Area Designation Petition: Kama‘ole Aquifer System Area
On June 7, 2025, John Laney, Leslie Iczkovitz, Kay Anderson, representing the Kihei Community Association, Maui Meadows Neighborhood Association, and Wailea808, filed a petition to designate the Kamaʻole Aquifer System, Maui, as a Ground Water Management Area under Section 174C-41. The proposed Kamaʻole Aquifer System Ground Water Management Area is a ground water hydrologic unit located within Maui’s Central Aquifer Sector Area.
