Puna Needs Kokua

Residents in the Puna District on the Big Island of Hawaii were among the hardest hit when Hurricane Iselle made landfall. Work to clear roads and restore utilities continues. Some areas may still be cut off and people in these areas may need ice, coolers, propane, lanterns, canned food, blankets and clothing. Hawaii Island United Way in conjunction with Hawaii County Civil Defense are coordinating relief efforts.
