KAUA‘I HUNTING UNIT A FERAL GOAT PERMITS
AVAILABLE FOR ARCHERY
LIHU‘E, KAUA‘I — The Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) announces the availability of feral goat control hunt permits in Hunting Unit A, Kekaha Game Management Area on the island of Kaua‘i. The Lihu‘e DOFAW office will issue 125 permits on a first-come, first-served basis from at 3060 ‘Eiwa St., Rm. 306, Lihu‘e, HI 96766 for each two-day slot.
Participants must present their 2014-15 Hawai‘i hunting license when acquiring their permit. A participant may acquire up to 3 additional permits for other participants, but must present those hunting licenses to do so.
Archery dates (two day slots): March 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24 and 30-31, 2015. Archery permits will be available on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, Monday at 8 a.m.
All requirements contained in Chapter 123, “Rules Regulating Game Mammal Hunting” shall apply. For further information, please call the Division of Forestry and Wildlife Lihu‘e office at (808) 274 3433 on weekdays (closed on state holidays) from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
