KALALAU TRAIL CLOSED TODAY
DUE TO FLASH FLOODING
HONOLULU — The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) announces that the Kalalau Trail is CLOSED today due to flash flooding conditions.
Hikers are advised to refrain from hiking in this area until conditions improve. DO NOT attempt to cross fast-flowing or rising waters. Stay in place until waters recede or help arrives.
Updates on the trail closure will be posted in news media and on the Hawaii State Parks website https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dsp/category/notices/ as information becomes available.
