DOBOR SEEKING COMMENTS ON COMMERCIAL OPERATOR
SIGNS AT KEAUHOU BAY SMALL BOAT HARBOR
KAILUA-KONA, HAWAI‘I — The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) is seeking public input regarding the installation of commercial signs at the Keauhou Bay small boat harbor.
DOBOR’s Hawai‘i district office received a request from one of the six commercial operators moored in Keauhou bay to install a sign in order to identify their business to their customers.
Since this is a public facility, DOBOR needs to treat all authorized commercial operators the same.
Suggestions are invited on where signs and sign board could be located, for example, all in one area such as the launch ramp, and all following the same design.
Please provide any recommendations regarding the proposed installation of commercial operator business signs in the harbor to the following email address by September 30, 2016: [email protected]
