Public Notice: Lahaina Aquifer Sector Area, Surface and Ground Water Management Area Designation, Island of Maui

The effective date of this surface and ground-water management area designation for the Lahaina Aquifer Sector Area shall be on publication of this notice or August 6, 2022.

Commission on Water Resource Management renders decision to designate the Lahaina Aquifer Sector Area as both a Surface and Ground Water Management Area that includes the Honokōhau, Honolua, Honokahua, Kahana, Honokōwai, Wahikuli, Kahoma, Kaua‘ula, Launiupoko, Olowalu, and Ukumehame Surface Water Hydrologic Units and the Honokōhau, Honolua, Honokōwai, Launiupoko, Olowalu, and Ukumehame Groundwater Hydrologic Units.
