With the new year, the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) launched a newly recast and mobile-friendly freshwater fishing license website.

“The upgraded solution provides easier access to our online service through a mobile responsive design that reacts to the size of our customers’ devices,” said DAR Administrator Frazer McGilvray. “Fishermen can now purchase or retrieve licenses on-the-go, from any device, and from anywhere with a network connection.”

Customers can visit freshwater.ehawaii.gov to purchase a Hawaii freshwater fishing license today. Upon successful purchase, licensees will receive a copy of their fishing license and any other required permits by email.

The online freshwater fishing game license solution is created in partnership with Hawaii Information Consortium, LLC, the official Internet portal manager of eHawaii.gov.
