HONOLULU -- An overturned boat that has been spotted from the air several times since three fishermen were reportedoverdue northwest of Oahu, on Monday July 4, has been found on a remote beach on Kauai’s north shore.

HONOLULU -- The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) yesterday began construction of improvements at the Maunalua Bay boat launch ramp to expand the vessel washdown area and construct a roadway around it. Work is scheduled to continue this week and next week.

KAHULUI – The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) will implement a new parking plan in the Maalaea Small Boat Harbor beginning Monday, August 3, 2015.

HILO -- The Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) has awarded a contract to American Marine Corporation to dredge the entrance channel of Wailoa Small Boat Harbor and a portion of the inner basin to depth of 8.0' below MLLW (mean lower low water level).

KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII – A Kona fishing charter boat captain died today after being fatally injured by a broadbill swordfish he had just speared in Honokohau small boat harbor on Hawaii Island

Kona-Kailua – He’s known as B-18 and for the past week this endangered Hawaiian monk seal has been spotted repeatedly swimming in and around boats at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor on Hawaii Island. He’s feeding on fish scraps that have been thrown overboard. This has prompted the DLNR Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) to remind people that it is against the law to dispose of fish scraps in state waters.
