This page contains notices for modifications to regular services offered and/or hours of operation for DOBOR Small Boat Harbors and Boating Facilities.

Hawaii:

–North Kawaihae Small Boat Harbor: Moorings are currently unusable due to storm damage.  Launch ramp remains open.  Users are advised to exercise caution when using the launch ramp.

–Puako Launch Ramp and Loading Dock will be closed until further notice due to damage from heavy surf.  Staff are evaluating the condition of the facility and determining next steps.

Kauai:

-Effective March 19, 2024, and until further notice, the Kauai District Office and Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor Office will close at 12:00pm on Tuesdays.  Customers may alternatively contact the Kauai District Office by calling (808) 241-3111.

-Effective March 20, 2024, and until further notice, the Port Allen Small Boat Harbor Office will be closed to the public on Wednesdays.  Customers may alternatively contact the Kauai District Office at 2494 Niumalu Road or by calling (808) 241-3111.

Maui/Molokai/Lanai:

–Lahaina Small Boat Harbor is closed to vessel operations until further notice.  Harbor recovery/rebuild updates are available here.

-A temporary office has been setup at the Mala Boat Ramp facility to provide services to Lahaina and Mala customers.  The temporary office at Mala will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  The temporary office at Mala will be closed on Wednesdays.

Oahu:

-Effective Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and until further notice, Keehi Small Boat Harbor Office will be closed to in-person transactions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Phone transactions still accepted during business hours (M-F, 7:45am to 4:00pm) at (808) 832-3464.
