This page contains notices for modifications to regular services offered and/or hours of operation for DOBOR Small Boat Harbors and Boating Facilities.

Hawaii:

-Effective Monday, May 15, 2023, and until further notice, the DOBOR Hilo Office at 75 Aupuni Street will be staffed on a limited basis: Thursdays by appointment only.  On all other days, the DOBOR Hilo Office will be closed and will not be staffed.  Customers may contact the Hawaii District Office at (808) 327-3690 for assistance.

–North Kawaihae Small Boat Harbor: Moorings are currently unusable due to storm damage.  Launch ramp remains open.  Users are advised to exercise caution when using the launch ramp.

Kauai:

-Effective March 19, 2024, and until further notice, the Kauai District Office and Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor Office will close at 12:00pm on Tuesdays.  Customers may alternatively contact the Kauai District Office by calling (808) 241-3111.

-Effective March 20, 2024, and until further notice, the Port Allen Small Boat Harbor Office will be closed to the public on Wednesdays.  Customers may alternatively contact the Kauai District Office at 2494 Niumalu Road or by calling (808) 241-3111.

Maui/Molokai/Lanai:

-Effective Tuesday, January 11, 2022, and until further notice, the Maui District Office and Maalaea Small Boat Harbor Office will be closed to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Harbor and vessel registration/titling transactions processed only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Oahu:

-Effective Tuesday, January 3, 2022, and until further notice, the Keehi Small Boat Harbor Office will be closed to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Harbor transactions will be processed only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

-Effective Tuesday, March 14, 2023, and until further notice, the Oahu District Office will be closed to the public on Tuesdays.  For Oahu District Office services (Tow-in stickers, Commercial Use Permits, Marine Event Permits, etc.), please knock on the Oahu District Office door on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

-Effective Wednesday, March 13, 2024 and until further notice, the Vessel Registration and Titling Office on Oahu will be closed to the public until 12:00pm on Wednesdays.  Mail-in transactions will continue to be processed in the order they are received by staff.  Customers may alternatively email [email protected] for assistance.
