A. The Authority anticipates convening in Executive Session pursuant to Section 92-
5(a)(2), HRS, to consider and deliberate on the hiring of an employee and pursuant
to Section 92-5(a)(3) to consult with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues
pertaining to the Authority’s power, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities in
the following matters:

i.   Briefing on Office of Hawaiian Affairs vs. State of Hawaii lawsuit against the Authority

ii.   Discussion on terms of employment for prospective Executive Director hire

iii.   Briefing on potential impact of Senate Bill 2297 on the Authority’s powers, duties, and privileges

iv.    Briefing on potential impact of Senate Bill 2761 on the Authority’s powers, duties, and privileges under the Sunshine Law

X. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Individuals wishing to provide written testimony on agenda items can submit copies of their testimony to the Chair at 19 E. Written testimony that is received later than 24-hours prior to the meeting will be retained as part of the record and distributed to MKSOA members as soon as practicable, but we cannot ensure that MKSOA members will receive it with sufficient time for review prior to decision-making.
