Who: Pu’u Wa’awa’a Advisory Council (PAC)

What: Quarterly meeting to update the PAC on education, research, and management actions at Pu’u Wa’awa’a ahupua’a, and to solicit advice and expertise on proposed management actions.

Where: Pu’u Wa’awa’a Forest Reserve, Lake House

When: Friday, September 20, 3-5 PM

Why: The Pu’u Wa’awa’a Advisory Council (PAC) was formed in June 2002 to function in a consultative capacity with the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) staff involved in planning efforts for Pu’u Wa’awa’a. The PAC is comprised of community members who represent a wide range of expertise and interests in the various components and actions proposed in the 2003 Management Plan for the Ahupua’a of Pu’u Wa’awa’a and the Makai Lands of Pu’u Anahulu.
