New dock at the Waiakea Public Fishing Area boat ramp now in service
The Waiakea Public Fishing Area Boat Ramp in Hilo has re-opened for public use. A new combination fixed and floating dock system servicing the launching ramp replaces the previous fixed docks that fell in severe disrepair. All work was completed by Pacific Underwater Construction.
