- Located approximately 34 miles northwest of Ka Lae Point, on the southwestern shores of Hawai`i.
- No active boating facilities today
- Remnant historical coastal landing, formerly under the jurisdiction of the Territory Board of Harbor Commissioners
- Shoreline use is restricted to recreational use of the county’s Ho`okena Park
