Vessel renewals can now be up done online.
On July 1, 2021, DOBOR implemented vessel titling. All undocumented vessels principally used in Hawaii must be titled. Detailed information can be found on the vessel titling page.

Boaters may also renew their vessel registration in-person at the Vessel Registration and Titling Office on Oahu or the nearest Neighbor Island District Office. Transactions for new purchases and transfers must be completed in-person. Under vessel titling and registration laws, a vessel cannot be registered unless it is titled, except for those vessels exempt from titling. Mail-in registration renewal and titling services will continue to be processed in the order they are received. Please contact the appropriate office for more information.
