In light of the recent wildfire and losses at Lahaina, this project will be postponed until further notice.

Lahaina Small Boat Harbor Inner Marginal Wharf repairs will begin on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Work will include removal of existing, structurally deteriorating wooden inner marginal wharf deck structure and replacement with new aluminum framed wharf with plastic lumber fenders, fiber reinforced plastic decking, water and electrical utility pedestals, and new mooring buoys.

The project will be completed in three (3) phases.  Each phase will involve relocation of approximately eight (8) vessels.  Relocation of vessels will be coordinated with slip permittees, the contractor, and harbor staff.  Parking stalls immediately fronting the inner marginal wharf will be restricted to provide a staging area for the contractor.  Access to slip permittees’ dock boxes may also be limited during construction.  No other harbor facilities will be affected or closed.
