Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation

The Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation is pleased to share its June 2022 Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor (AWSBH) Vision Report, prepared by the University of Hawaii Community Design Center (UHCDC).  The purpose of the Vision Report is to offer insight for future requests for proposals for AWSBH.  Drawing on the findings from community engagement facilitated by DTL in 2017; DOBOR’s 2019 Strategic Plan; and a guided site visit with Senator Sharon Moriwaki and the AWSBH Working Group, the team prepared two concepts for the harbor that was shared with key stakeholders to gather feedback.
