HONOLULU — Keiki of all ages are invited to find their own adventure as they explore the iconic Diamond Head State Monument, on Kids to Parks Day, Saturday May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

(HILO, HAWAIʻI) – Starting on Wednesday, Akaka Falls State Park on Hawaiʻi Island will temporarily close on weekdays to undergo rockfall mitigation work. The DLNR Division of State Parks has contracted Prometheus Construction for the project, which is expected to run through the end of the month.

HONOLULU –The Department of Land and Natural Resources is pleased to announce that Doni Leināʻala Hanuna Pahukoa Chong has been selected as the new Curator of the Royal Mausoleum State Monument at Mauna ‘Ala on O‘ahu. Ms. Chong becomes the 18th curator of the Royal Mausoleum.
