(HONOLULU) – Waikīkī Elementary students led an oli (chant) that echoed through the tunnel entrance to Diamond Head (Lēʻahi) State Monument this morning, to celebrate the culmination of a year-long project that partnered the school with the DLNR Division of State Parks (DSP).
(LĪHU‘E) –The state Commission on Water Resource Management (CWRM) will host a community hearing next Tuesday, May 21, focused on the Kauaʻi Water Use and Development Plan (KWUDP) update. (HILO, HAWAIʻI) – Starting on Wednesday, Akaka Falls State Park on Hawaiʻi Island will temporarily close on weekdays to undergo rockfall mitigation work. The DLNR Division of State Parks has contracted Prometheus Construction for the project, which is expected to run through the end of the month.
