HONOLULU – All 14 Hawaiʻi Island State Parks and campsites will close at 4 p.m. today and will remain closed tomorrow in anticipation of Tropical Storm Calvin. All DLNR Division of State Parks (DSP) offices will also be closed tomorrow. Parks will reopen following assessments of any damage.

To address these questions, the Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry Program, a DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) program announces the launch of the online interactive Stewardship Mapping and Assessment Project (STEW-MAP).
(HONOLULU) – Listed as a National Natural Landmark, the iconic Lē‘ahi - Diamond Head State Monument (DHSM), is the third park unit in the Hawai‘i State Park system to require advanced reservations for out-of-state visitors, beginning on May 12, 2022. Hawai‘i residents continue to enjoy free access without reservations, but entry may depend on parking availability.
