Evans’ constituents deal with invasive pests such as Rauvolfia vomitoria, Miconia calvescens, and the threat of invading coqui frogs and Little Fire Ants. Rep. Evans invited HISC Coordinator Joshua Atwood on to her Olelo show “What Now?” to discuss the purpose of the Hawaii Invasive Species Council and the impacts of some of Hawaii’s worst invaders.
