Hawaii Invasive Species Council

HISC working groups are established by the HISC Strategic Plan. Membership is open, and each is chaired by a representative from a HISC member agency. Generally, working groups are comprised of invasive species practitioners and funding recipients, rather than voting members of the HISC Council. The purpose of these groups is to provide in-depth discussion on priority topics, move forward on the goals and strategies in the HISC Strategic Plan and provide input to the formation of a recommended budget to present to the Council for review and approval.
