2015 Palau Invasive Species Awareness Day

 Palau Invasive Species Awareness Day is organized in coordination with partners and in collaboration with Hawaii Invasive Species Awareness Week (HISAW), U.S. National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW) and Pacific region awareness efforts. It seeks to promote information sharing and public engagement on invasive species issues which pose significant threats to Palau’s unique natural resources and the health and well-being of its people.

  • Greatest Hit: Melekeok Elementary School,  for submitting more essays in the Invasive Species Awareness Day Essay Contest than all other schools in Palau combined.
