Presenter: Elizabeth Speith is the Report Facilitator and has been deeply involved with the creation of both the website and companion mobile app since its origins as a USGS Pacific Biological Information Node (PBIN) web project called “Report-A-Pest.”

Summary: The 643Pest Network is the State of Hawaii’s system for the public to report invasive species sightings. The network includes the 643-PEST (643-7378) telephone hotline, the online reporting system and the 643-PEST mobile application for iOS and Android. Reports are assessed by either the Hawaii Department of Agriculture or the Hawaii Invasive Species Council.
