In the link below is the Notice of Animal control activities and temporary cloure of Mauna Kea Forest Reserve, Mauna Kea Ice Age Natural Area Reserve, Palila Mitigation Lands, and Kaohe Game Management Area. 

Control Schedules are February 25 and 26, Mach 18 and 19, and April 15 and 15 of 2015. 

Public access to these areas and the Mauna Kea Hunter Access Road will be restricted and allowed BY PERMIT ONY for animal salvage purposes on  February 25 and 26, Mach 18 and 19, and April 15 and 15 of 2015.
