DLNR TO OPEN NOUNOU FOREST RESERVE
FOR TRIAL ARCHERY ANIMAL CONTROL

LIHU‘E, KAUA‘I —  The Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife on Kaua‘i will be opening Nounou Forest Reserve for a trial archery animal control of feral pigs.  All interested participants must attend a safety meeting and bring a valid 2017-18 Hawai‘i hunting license to be issued a control permit.  The safety meeting will discuss access, boundaries, specific safety concerns, hunting rules and other specific details for this animal control.  The meeting will be held at the State Building in Lihu‘e at 3060 ‘Eiwa St Room 209 on May 3, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.  If you cannot make it to this meeting, a future meeting will be announced for more participation at a later date.  For further information on the animal control please call (808) 274-3433.
