National Public Lands Day is an opportunity to celebrate public lands and get involved in volunteer projects. It was established in 1994 by the National Environmental Education Foundation.
DLNR Forestry & Wildlife stewards around 1M acres of public lands across Hawaiʻi, including Forest Reserves, Natural Area Reserves, Wildlife Sanctuaries, and Game Management Areas.
